Anchovy Bread

Q: it's a small non-hot pepper (prob a cherry pepper) with bread crumbs with garlic, anchovies, some spices, i'm assuming. i'd love this recipe because it's great.

Ingredients:
8 green Peperoni (sweet reds)
4 cups crumbled day old bread

If you don't have anchovy fillets, substitute 1 teaspoon (5 ml) anchovy paste instead. (I always have a tube of anchovy paste in my fridge.) In a large bowl, toss cubed bread with olive oil, dried herbs and salt until bread is evenly coated.

As you may discern, I'm quite bad at crosswords. Delicious on its own with bread or toast, but also a versatile ingredient to add an olivey bite to all sorts of other dishes. To make it vegetarian, leave out the anchovies. Makes 400g.and more »
