I have to say from the start that it was only since February 2009 that I have started to like scallops. I never liked their texture. Way too squidgy, and the taste was a bit too sweet for my liking. It is safe to say that the more I have had them, the more I have liked them. But despite this I probably still wouldn’t choose them from a menu as they have yet to rock my world. As far as I am concerned there are far better shellfish out there. Perhaps this recipe would prove me wrong.
