Best shrimp dip in the world, and easy!
I made this dip, the kit has the shrimp and magic spice blend, all you add is cream cheese and mayo. I served it at a party and everyone went bonkers!
I'll certainly buy it again.
Shrimp Dip
The corporate owners of Red Lobster made a bone-headed move in 2001, closing the popular seafood restaurant at West Towne, where it seemed to thrive, and turning it into a Smokey Bones BBQ, which closed after a 5-year run.
Four years ago, Joey’s Seafood & Grill smartly stepped in less than a mile away to fill the void. Owners Keith and Erin Stoesz had immediate success on Mineral Point Road, offering good portions, modest prices, a big menu and well-prepared fish and seafood. Joey’s was part of a Minnesota-based chain that imploded in late 2007, leaving local owners like the Stoeszes on their own. The couple decided to keep the name Joey’s.

I’ve been thinking about the special appetizers I’ve served over the years. Many, many years ago I used to make the best Shrimp Dip. It was the one bowl of dip that would be empty first. I made that dip back when I could buy a can of shrimp soup. Unfortunately, they don’t make that product anymore.
